Home Technologies RoHS/WEEE

It goes without saying that our printed circuit boards and their lead-free surfaces comply with RoHS and meet the WEEE guidelines.

The RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) of the European Union (EU) governs limitations on the use of hazardous substances. Since July 2006 it has banned the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic devices.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is the EC directive 2002/96/EC designed to reduce the amount of electronic waste produced from electrical and electronic equipment that is no longer being used. By making manufacturers more responsible for their products, it aims for a reduction in and environmentally-sound disposal of electrical waste.
